Hi, my name is Maya Prilutsky and I am the founder and owner of Maya's Skin Care. I am a certified and licensed esthetician in the Los Angeles area. Born and raised in Ukraine, immigrating later to Israel, I received an education that shaped me into a well-rounded skin care professional. With a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Food Processing Science, my extensive scientific background has enabled me to apply that knowledge to my skin care practice.

Having a strong affinity and love for the beauty sciences, especially skin care, I made a decision to change my career. I obtained my skin care training in one of the premier beauty and skin care academies in Haifa, Israel. There I learned how to combine modern methods of skin care, with age-old traditions of the Mediterranean. Using products derived from the rich muds of the Dead Sea, along with other specific products, I am able to provide my clients with an optimal treatment.

With over 13 years experience (9 of which are in the United States) in the area of beauty and skin care, my treatment approach is a unique one in the field. I maintain that no two individuals are alike; therefore, no two treatment approaches should be alike. With time spent interviewing each client and discussing their specific needs, I customize a treatment that is as unique as the individual being treated.

My golden rule is to provide you with the most beneficial treatment without pain or trauma to your skin. Therefore, I prepare each and every client for treatment by softening the skin and opening pores. I use various essential oils, creams, and steamers, in combination with face massage to help me achieve the best therapeutic results.

In the relaxing atmosphere of Maya's Skin Care, you will never feel rushed or uncomfortable. The salon is kept quiet-this means that I do not allow any loud music or other disturbance while a client is treated. So you can be assured that your skin care experience will be a most tranquil and relaxing one.
